磨き屋シンジラレーンけど

ＨＫの靴屋さん。毎年一回立ち寄り、

購入させてもらうことを楽しみにしていますが、

今年は中国への出張も多かったため、すでに今年はもう数回。

The shoes shop in Hong Kong.

It’s like a ritual to me to visit once a year and purchase a pair of finest shoes.
Since my business trip brought me to China many times this year, 
I've visited here a couple of times already.

こちらのいいところは、メンテナンスやアドバイスも的確なところ。

決して押し付けはせずにそのブランドのストーリーや

それぞれの違いや良いところを丁寧に説明してくれます。

勉強するところが多いです。

The best part here is a quality of their maintenance and their accurate advice.

How they explain their brand history and
help me selecting a perfect pair is so professional with great care.
A lot to learn from them.

スタッフと靴談義をしたかったのですが、

仕事の邪魔をしてはいけませんので、サラりと店内を拝見し、

I wanted to have some shoes-conversation with them,
but I decided to only look around because didn't wanna disturb their job.

靴磨きをお願いしました。

動きが滑らかです。カッコイイ。

靴もきれいですが、その作業が流れるように美しいです。

Then I asked him for shoeshine.
The way he shines the shoes is so smooth.
His motion is beautiful. It's like a stream of air.

皮の事、ワックスの事などいろんなことを話しながら

あっという間に、出張で疲れ果てた靴が艶やかになってゆきます。

While him and I were talking about leather, wax, and more things,
my tired pair of shoes from this business trip started to glow again.

またこのお店にお願いしたくなる。この人にお願いしたくなる。

そう思わせてくれるお店です。

そして結局買ってしまいましたが。。。

やっぱりな。。。

I realize,
I will wanna come back to this shop.
I will wanna come back to him.
This shop always makes me think like that every time I come visit.

And of course,
I did purchase my new pair of shoes from them as well.
Oh well, it's all good.
